These five young Slovenian musicians from a range of musical disciplines have been working together since spring 2020 with a common desire to connect with people and place through folk music.
Their repertoire features a wide range of folk songs and dances from the Slovenian ethnic regions, as well as from other parts of south-eastern Europe: Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.
Who said the younger generations aren’t interested in folk music?
This concert is included in the programme of the 38th International Druga Godba Festival and is covered by the Festival Pass.
