Druga Godba is once again extending its programme beyond Ljubljana with a series of festival residencies across Slovenia. Following on from our collaboration with the Polish group Sutari in 2025, this year’s residency features Norwegian sensations Reolô, who seem set to shift the boundaries of contemporary Nordic folk.

Reolô will perform four times during the festival. As part of our established collaboration with Radio Slovenia’s First Programme, their residency begins on 26 May with an appearance on Prva vrsta. The concert and accompanying conversation will be broadcast live. On the same day, the band will perform as part of the Jazz Ravne series in Ravne na Koroškem, organised by the Drugi Zvoki Cultural Association (Robert Jamnik and Franc Kokal). The following day sees their main festival performance at Klub CD in Cankarjev dom, with the residency concluding on 28 May with a concert at Krško Cultural Centre.
Reolô blend contemporary Norwegian folk with jazz virtuosity, Nordic folk with African rhythms, to create energetic, captivating and occasionally dark soundscapes. On stage, they speak as much to folk enthusiasts as to fans of experimental rock.

Festival passes for Druga Godba do not include concerts outside Ljubljana.
