K’Pow has been DJing since way back in 1997. A former member of famed Ljubljana
collective RDYO DJs, he is now part of the GOR society and label for the promotion of hip hop culture, and a member of the Big Nose Ent team, which is hard at work on a new record shop in Ljubljana. His musical passion is hip hop, but his selection behind the decks runs through funk, future beats, nu-jazz/broken and much more besides.
He has appeared at clubs, events and festivals throughout Slovenia and the former Yugoslav region, as well as the UK, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and France. He has collaborated and appeared with many well-known Slovenian and international musicians and other artists, and is also a member of the band Emkej in muzičarji. In addition to his DJ appearances and other projects, K’Pow is also a something of a mentor to the younger generation of DJs as the co-founder of a series of free DJ workshops, which have been held twice a month for the last five years.
