BCUC, aka Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness, are a seven-piece band from Soweto, South Africa. Their music is straight-up, no-nonsense harmony, underpinned by powerful but subtle bass and drums. The band are superbly dynamic, letting the songs develop before fading them a little and then changing direction. It’s a wild ride to the end for both body and soul.
