In 1994\u00a0Youssou'n'Dour\u00a0and\u00a0Neneh Cherry\u00a0surprised the music community worldwide with a
\nbeautiful pop song that became one of the most successful in the history of music. Twenty-five
\nyears later, it still has the power to change the mood. It's gentle and full-hearted.
\n\u00a0
\nYoussou N'Dour performed in front of nearly 3,000 people at\u00a0Druga Godba\u00a0 in 1998. It was an
\nincredible concert of Senegalese mbalax \u2013 the music style that changed Western views about
\nmusic and showed how unique and rhythmically complex can pop be.
\n\u00a0
\nLike Youssou, Neneh Cherry has always been at the forefront of something important, from\u00a0RipRig + Panic<\/a>\u00a0and co-writing songs for the first\u00a0Massive Attack\u00a0album, to a solo career that was been occasionally and happily interrupted by collaboration with\u00a0The Thing<\/a>, and finally to her latest album, Broken Politics. In a few days, on Tuesday 26 February, she will return to Ljubljana to perform at\u00a0Kino \u0160i\u0161ka,\u00a0to follow on from her amazing concert with The Thing at\u00a0JAZZ FESTIVAL LJUBLJANA\u00a02012. <\/p>\n

Be there<\/a>: for someone who really deserves it, for what she's done in the past and for what she's doing now. Music without Neneh Cherry wouldn't be the same thing.<\/p>\n
