Artist talks @Druga Godba 2026

A key part of the concert programme for many years has also been a series of talks that explore the musical and aesthetic ideas behind the performances, offer a more personal insight into the artists, and give festival audiences the chance to engage directly with the musicians through questions and open conversation.

La Niña (Carola Moccia) is an Italian musician and songwriter whose work brings together tradition, contemporary music and a strong expressive identity. Her sound blends Neapolitan musical heritage with electronic and urban influences, with language – often Neapolitan dialect – playing a central role as a carrier of meaning and emotion.

In her lyrics, themes of femininity, power and social roles unfold as layered, symbolic narratives that move between the intimate and the collective, questioning identity, the body and wider social structures.
